If you are sending your programmer to T-Code Asia Tech Center for any reason, a repair form is required. Failing to include form may result in delay of repair.  (Choose the correct form below, print, fill out completely, and include in box with unit)

The AD-100 PRO, T-Code PRO & MVP-PRO warranty is valid for 1 year from the date of purchase.  Units that are out of warranty may incur repair charges. (Charges listed on forms below)

Q: I plugged my programmer into a car's OBDII port and it would not power up. Do I need repairs?

A: You may, but the problem may also be the car's OBD2 port.  Please try

  • 1. Plug-in and remove the OBDII cable a couple of different cars to test it
  • 2. Use a ADC-116 OBDII Tester to test the port.
  • 3.  Check if the vehicle you are working on has a aftermarket stereo system or speakers.  If it has a aftermarket system, this vehicle’s OBDII system might have been disable and you will not able to work on this car.  
  • 4. Plug it into a wall outlet using your Update Cable. If it still will not power up, send it to tech support with the repair form.
Q: When I turn on my PRO, a large X appears on the screen.
A: The software on your unit has been most likely been erased. This will occur when the passcode is entered into the unit incorrectly more than 3 times in a row.  Your PRO unit has already been erased must be sent to us for recompiling. This process can take a few days and will cost US$ 150.00 + Shipping charge to fix it.

Q After I enter my password, and my PRO unit does not go to next screen.

A: TCodePRO's that have been erased must be sent to us for recompiling. This process can take up to 9~10 business days and a fee is charged.

Q: I’m not able to download the new software onto my AD-100PRO, T-CodePRO or MVP-PRO

A: You will have to update your loader as your loader might be too old.  Please.

  1. Erase the old loader from your computer
  2. Download the new loader   http://www.advanced-diagnostics.co.uk/loader/ad100/AD100MVPPro.exe
  3. After download the new loader, please select “Both” to update both “Standard” and “Beta” software.

If you still do not see the new software, please contact your T-Factory specialist.

Q: I’m not able to download the tokens onto my MVP-PRO

You will have to update your loader as your loader might be too old.  Please.

  1. Erase the old loader from your computer
  2. Download the new loader http://www.loading.advanced-diagnostics.co.uk/installer/ADLoaderInstallx86.exe
  3. After download the new loader, please select “Both” to update both “Standard” and “Beta” software.
  4. Select “Token Bank” and check the amount of the tokens you have on-line.

If you still do not see your purchased tokens, please contact your T-Factory specialist.

Q: I would like to get a Smart Pin code calculator, how and where can I get one?

A: The Smartcard Pin code calculator implemented on PRO & MVP-PRO only.  If you are a PRO owner, please contact your distributor or store where you bought your PRO unit.
Q: When I plug in my programmer, this error message appears on the screen:
"Undefined Interrupt-Vector 44-Mask 7".  What does this message mean?
A: This can occur if your software has been partially erased due to the same reason above.  To fix this problem you must update your software on the Internet. Your first step, after connecting the unit to your computer, is to finish erasing your software by entering an incorrect pass code 3 or 4 times in a row. After doing this, a large X will appear on the screen and you can proceed with the update mentioned above.
Q: How often should I update the software on my programmer and how much does it cost?
A: You can update the software you already have to a newer version anytime you want...for free!  Updating once every 2-months will keep your software current.

Q: If I am having problems updating my software, what troubleshooting steps can I take?

A:
1)
If you are receiving an error message similar to "PRO Not Connected", check to make sure you have entered your pass code into the programmer and it is on the vehicle selection screen.

2) If the download will not start it may be blocked by your virus protection or firewall software.
Temporarily disabling these should fix the problem.
Q: If I cannot update my programmer, can I send it to Tech Support to have it done? How much does it cost?
A: We are happy to update your programmer for you.  Just print and fill out the form above and send
it in with your unit.  We will update for free but charge $50.00 to return via UPS
shipping.
Q: What will it cost to repair my PRO unit? How long will it take?

A: If tech support cannot do the required repairs, we may have to send your unit to the manufacturer. For all out of warranty unit, a fee will be charge depend on the damage your PRO unit has. The repairs can take 6~8-weeks. We can also replace your unit with a refurbished unit preloaded with your software for US$ 1,980.00

Q: Are Loaner units available?

A: Loaner units are available for all PRO owners only for US $499.00 a month.  Please contact your distributor for detail.  

Q: What about my warranty?
A: Warranty's for PRO programmers last for 1 year after the purchase date. There is no repair or replacement charge for units that are less than 1 year old. For example, you bought your unit on 6/08/1998, your warranty will expire on 6/08/1999.
(Cosmetic damage, such as a cracked screen, is not covered under warranty)
